“Trusting Rain” is a film by Kristin Alexander that shows the beauty of Bermuda as well as the historic practice of the collection and conservation of rain water through the eyes of Bermudians. The film premiered at the Bermuda International Film Festival and was accepted in many festivals, including Trinidad/Tobago, Bangalore, the Scottish Hebrides and several U.S. venues, winning Best Short Film at the Blue Ridge Film Festival. Filmmaker Magazine called it “visually entrancing”.
Kristin Alexander is an award-winning documentary filmmaker based in Massachusetts. Her films focus on social and environmental causes, as well as portraits delving into the lives of individuals. She has a Masters Degree as a Nurse Practitioner and is active with the Conservation Commission in Massachusetts.
