Kim Smith has taken over as executive director at the Bermuda Environmental Sustainability Taskforce.
Alma Dismont and Lynne Matcham have also joined the board at BEST, whose long-serving chief advocacy officer Stuart Hayward retired at the beginning of the year.
Ms Smith has been involved with BEST since meeting Mr Hayward on the Southlands campaign in 2007.
She said: “I have enjoyed ten years of very satisfying engagement on issues that are important to the BEST mission and I’m looking forward to the next ten years as we continue with our vision for a sustainable Bermuda for future generations.”
