Walk to Save the South Shore
Dear friend of the Environment,
In order for the Bermuda Environment and Sustainability Taskforce (BEST) to continue the fight against the ongoing threats to our diminishing open spaces we must begin to raise funds to support our cause.
Our first effort is a simple fundraising Save the South Shore Walk to be held Sunday April 29th 2007 along the South Road. The walk will begin between 11 am and 1 pm and start from Warwick Long Bay. Parking will be at either Warwick Long bay or Chaplin Bay and the walk will follow the South Road to the Southlands property and return. The walk is approximately a two mile round trip.
There will be the “NEW” BEST t-shirts on sale for $20, $50 and $100 along with refreshments and BEST information and flyers. A tent will be set up at the top of Warwick Long bay to sign up, purchase your shirt and assist the cause. We hope you can make every effort to come out for this walk and support BEST as we strive to sustain our environment and Bermuda’s Quality of Life. If you can’t walk on that day then please simply come by and purchase one of the BEST t-shirts to show your support.
